Where There's Smoke ....

.... there's fire! And there was a big one just over the county boundary from Ilkeston in Trowell last night. It was allowed to burn itself out as there were over 3000 tyres ablaze along with a wholesale furniture store and the Fire Service didn't want to pollute the River Erewash with toxic waste. As well as being a setback for the companies and their employees in these hard economic times, it's also sad for the community in general as I believe it was a listed building.
