The One That Got Away

Gifts and cards have become more and more prominent in shop windows in readiness for Valentine's Day next week and so far I have resisted the temptation to photograph them. Today however I couldn't resist when I saw this cute figure in a charity shop window.


With arms outstretched I was struck by the fact that had it not been for the slogan on its chest, it could well have been an angler describing the size of his catch that had slipped off the hook and got away. Sorry but that's how my mind works sometimes. Yes I know I'm weird!
